안병남은 그리고, 만들고, 촬영한다. 이러한 그의 파편적인 기획은 전시라는 매체를 통한 무대 혹은 장소 만들기로 귀결된다.
이는 주변의 나타나고 사라지는 연약한 대상들과 그에 반응하는 심리를 포착하기 위한 방법론이다. 
최근에는 동시대의 만연한 불안 요인들에 의해 나타나는 연약한 몸과 이미지에 대한 이야기를 작업을 통해 하고 있다. 
대표 전시로는 <지운볕(2026)>과 <아이스크림 밀어넣기(2023)>, 대만에서의 퍼포먼스 연계 스크리닝 <Navigation Coordinates(2025)>에 참여한 이력이 있다.

An Byeongnam draws, paints, makes, and films. His fragmentary planning ultimately culminates in stage-making through the medium of exhibitions. 
This serves as a methodology for capturing fragile subjects that appear and disappear in his surroundings, as well as the psychology that responds to them. 
Recently, his work has explored fragile bodies and images shaped by the pervasive anxieties of the contemporary era. 
His major exhibitions include Erased Sunlight (2026), Pushing Ice Cream In (2023), and his participation in the performance-linked screening Navigation Coordinates (2025) in Taiwan.
